Privacy Policy

This explains what personal information we collect on the Nexop website, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and how you can reach us.

Last updated: May 11, 2026

The short version

Maajtek builds Nexop around a local-first privacy model. On this website, we collect a small amount of information when you choose to contact us, join the launch list, or book a demo. We do not sell your personal data, rent it, or use it for third-party advertising.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to nexop.maajtek.com and related website interactions operated by Maajtek for the Nexop product. It covers the newsletter, contact form, demo booking flows, website analytics, and ordinary email conversations with us.

This policy does not turn your home activity into Maajtek data. The Nexop product is designed to process smart-home routines, device states, sensor events, and automations locally on hardware you control by default.

Information we collect

  • Newsletter details: your email address, signup source, and signup time when you ask to receive Nexop updates.
  • Contact details: your name, email address, topic, message, and submission time when you use the contact form.
  • Demo booking details: details you provide through Cal.com, such as name, email, meeting time, and any notes you add for the demo.
  • Technical and analytics data: basic website usage information such as page views, referrers, approximate location, browser, and device type. We use Vercel Analytics, which is designed for aggregate website measurement rather than advertising profiles.
  • Anti-spam signals: hidden form fields and submission timing used to detect automated spam submissions.

Nexop product data

Nexop is being built so household data stays on the local device by default. That includes routine learning, device state, occupancy signals, automation history, and smart-home context.

If you later choose to share diagnostic information with us for support, we will use that information only to investigate the issue you raised. We will not ask you to send sensitive home data unless it is necessary for the support request and you choose to provide it.

How we use information

  • To send launch updates or product announcements you requested.
  • To reply to contact form submissions and support questions.
  • To schedule, prepare for, and follow up on demo calls.
  • To understand whether the website is working and which pages are useful.
  • To prevent spam, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run the website and respond to people who contact us. These may include Vercel for hosting and analytics, Convex for website form storage and processing, Cal.com for demo scheduling, and email infrastructure providers for sending and receiving messages.

These providers process information for the purposes above. We do not authorize them to sell your personal data or use it for their own ad targeting.

Cookies and tracking

We do not currently use tracking cookies, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar ad-tracking tools on the Nexop website. If this changes, we will update this policy and add any consent flow required by applicable law.

When we share information

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the website, with professional advisers where needed, with authorities when legally required, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to data brokers or advertisers.

International processing

Maajtek is based in Singapore, and some providers may process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to keep protection comparable to the standards required by applicable data protection law.

How long we keep information

  • Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
  • Contact messages are kept while needed to reply and maintain business records.
  • Demo booking records are kept while needed to manage the relationship and follow up.
  • Aggregate analytics are kept for website measurement and trend review.

We may keep limited records longer if needed for security, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from launch or marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email, or by contacting us. You can also ask us to access, correct, delete, or stop using personal information we hold about you, subject to legal limits.

Singapore privacy law includes access and correction rights under the Personal Data Protection Act. If other privacy laws apply to you, such as GDPR, UK GDPR, or California privacy laws, you may have additional rights. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Children

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will review it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website, product, or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows when this page was last updated.
